Jill Kinmont, ex-Olympic skier, suffered an accident at age 18, which left her paralyzed. Using interviews and film segments from the feature film, "The Other Side of the Mountain", the film explores the efforts made by Kinmont to overcome her handicap and become an active member of the community. The films shows Jill at home, at work, and describes the background of her accident, her recovery, her college education and her struggle to become one of the first teachers in a wheelchair.
